ISO 9001 Stage 1 passed
We're pleased to announce that Spotlight Pathology has successfully completed its ISO 9001 Stage 1 audit — with zero non-conformities.
April 2026
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems, setting the benchmark for how organisations consistently deliver products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. Achieving a clean Stage 1 audit is a rigorous test of documentation, process integrity, and organisational readiness — and we're proud that Spotlight met that bar without exception.
For a growing AI-driven pathology business, this achievement carries real weight. It demonstrates that our systems, governance, and workflows are not only functional — they are auditable, repeatable, and built to scale. It reflects the dedication of our team to getting things right, not just in the work we deliver, but in how we operate as a business.
This milestone also brings us one step closer to ISO 13485 certification — the medical device quality management standard that underpins our long-term ambitions in regulated healthcare environments. ISO 13485 demands an even higher level of process control and risk management, and today's result gives us a strong foundation to build on.
We'll share further updates as we progress through Stage 2. In the meantime, we'd like to thank our team and our audit partners for their diligence and professionalism throughout this process.
